Centreon-E2S

Centreon EventLog to syslog module, or Centreon E2S, allows to monitor MS Windows Event Logs and to forward to a syslog collector the events that correspond to user defined rules.

The user has the possibility, by editing a configuration file, to save some rules. Those rules are used to highlight some log present in the MS windows event logs. If a rule matches an event, the rule is formated in syslog format and is sent to the collector.
By combining this module with the Syslog Module available for Centreon 2.0, it becomes possible for administrators to monitor all problems present in the MS Windows event logs, in only one interface.

Real Time Monitoring¶

At regular intervals, the application browses MS Windows Event Logs to search for correspondence with the users defined rules. When it maches one, the event log is formated to syslog format and sent to the syslog event collector on the network.
